Tailor a Personal data page for your employees

We've received requests from HRs to be able to show to employees not only basic personal things but also additional information — salaries, inventory items, workloads, etc. And here we are!

Now it is possible to add, remove and customize the blocks shown on a "Personal data" page.

You or your admin can do it on the Setup page in Salesforce. Here is the way how to do this:

  • Go to Salesforce Setup.
  • Click an Object Manager tab.
  • Click on the Employee object.
  • Select the "Page Layouts" tab.
  • Click the "New" button to create a new page layout.
  • Name the new page layout "Employee HUB" and click "Save".
  • Scroll to the "Related lists" section. Here are the blocks or "Related Lists" now shown to your employees in the HUB.
To hide some of the related lists from the HUB page, click on the "Minus" icon near the block name. To switch the consequence, use drag-and-drop movement. To change the fields set inside a block, use the "Wrench" icon.

Welcome experience in the HUB

You've requested and we've implemented it! Now, new employees have a "welcome experience" in the Employee HUB. On the first connection, they will see a welcome banner and, if they have a workflow assigned, a link to the list of tasks to start working on their onboarding plan. For 90 days, they will have a right-side yellow card to check the progress and to have direct access handy when it's 100% done. Subscribe to receive all the updates as we are implementing new features to improve the Employee HUB experience!

Review absence approval requests in your Slack

It is now possible to get notified in Slack when you receive an absence request and answer it immediately. You will find all these messages in the "Messages" tab of the Flair app in Slack.

To manage this option, check or uncheck it in Notification settings in the Employee HUB.

Upload Files During Onboarding Process

During the onboarding process, it’s quite frequent that your HR department needs some documents from new employees. In order to make this process easier, we enabled a new component, which allows to specifically ask for a document from the employee. We’ve also enabled the option to choose a specific document category during the request process so that the document will be automatically uploaded to the right destination.

And, as a bonus, we've also added another component to let you request data fulfillment.

Follow up for the Onboarding and other workflows

We've improved the visualization of the Onboarding and other workflows the employees have assigned to bring more transparency and efficiency to the process. On the Salesforce side, you will find a table containing the most relevant information about each task. In this way, you will easily identify problems and check the progress at any time.

Flexible task assignment

As already mentioned we currently optimize our "Workflow Templates" (former "Onboarding Templates") to make you more flexible and extend the usage beyond onboariding to further proccesses.

Part of this plan is the possibility to assign absolute or relative values. You can now assign managers, performance managers, entire teams or a specific employee to a task. We hope you will try our new feature and give us feedback.

Get your timesheets into Shift Planner

We have improved our Shift Planner! There will never again be differences between the hours in the Shift Planner and the timesheets.

To ensure that the workload in the Shift Planner always corresponds to reality and thus to the timesheets, you can now easily enter them into the Shift Planner. This way, you always have the actual working hours in your Shift Planner and you can be sure that nothing falls under the table.

Let us know what you think about this change! We'd be more than happy to hear what you think. Don't forget to subscribe to the updates!

More flexibility on cycles

As we add more customization, cycles become more flexible and can be used for different purposes. You might need to create a cycle that doesn't require a meeting to discuss the outcomes—offboarding, direct feedback from a manager over an employee... For these and many other cases, we've added a component that lets you determine whether you want to require a meeting or not to finish with the process.

Stay tuned as we are working to add more features on cycles at any time... we highly recommend you to subscribe!

A new look for employee's "limited" absence categories

"Limited" absence categories are those where the time off is calculated by special rules — policies. For example, they let to accrue the same amount of vacation days for employees every year.

To make setting them up and managing better, we updated the page where you find the details of absence categories applied to an employee.

Start with the Overview tab to have an overall picture. The charts will show you how many available days an employee has, how many are planned, or already taken, also — how the accrued days are spent through the year. Below the charts, you can find the table with the actual information on how these days were accrued and spent.

If you want to get into details or make some changes in policies, go to the "Assigned policies" tab. You may now filter policies by their status: active, upcoming, expired, see the allowances the exact policy creates, and open related absences.

The last tab, Absences, shows the exact requests for the time off. Here you may try new filters by period and also see the allowances used for each absence.

Feel free to test and share your impressions!
