A new look for the Employee Hub Menu!🎉

We've received lots of feedback about our menu and manager dashboard navigation. We're happy to share some of the improvements we've worked on and introduce a new look for the Employee HUB navigation menu for both employees and managers.

All Employees can navigate through the employee hub app from the side menu that shows a white background with all features of the app listed with identifiable icons for easy access in an organized layout.

For managers, now you can easily switch sections between your employee view and your Manager dashboard.

The Manager section shows a dark blue background with all features that helps you focus directly on all your managerial functions without the added distractions of other parts of your employee account.

We hope you like these improvements. Feel free to share your feedback, Let us know what you think!

Our Improved Salesforce Navigation Menu!

We have introduced a new way to help you navigate and explore the Salesforce HR app with an improved, clear and easy to understand menu structure.

Categorized menu: The salesforce menu has been arranged into groups with submenus to help you easily access different areas of the HR app. New categorized menus include:

  • 'Staff & Docs' which comprises all employees, company documents, data changes and teams.'
  • 'Compensations' which shows all information about your organization's cost centres, and all employees' payroll and salaries
  • 'Attendance' shows all information about the attendance of all employees; their timesheets, shifts, projects, workloads and absences.
  • 'Engagement' shows the information on all performance cycles, goals, skills and employee 1:1s
  • 'Workplace' gives access to all company locations, departments and Inventory items
  • 'Compliance' shows all company policies and absence categories
  • 'Workflows' shows all your workflow and evaluation templates and allows you to easily manage all your regular processes and tasks
  • 'HR Admin' shows you a quick view of all menus and related submenus

These new menus will appear by default on the HR app but you still have the option to access other menus in the 'More' section.

Homepage Shortcuts: We added a new section on the homepage to include some of your frequently used features for easy proximity, so you can easily jump right into what you need to get done without having to navigate through all of the different menus. With the new homepage shortcuts, you can easily access your frequently visited features from the shortcut menu on the homepage.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We appreciate your feedback!

Flexible Workloads are on!

Giving more working flexibility to employees' schedules is a trend, but how should HRs administer it? At flair.hr, we have developed a solution for cases when employees' workload differs week by week or even when there are no repeatable patterns at all.

We called this the "Flexible workload model". To start working with it click "Add new workload" on the employee's page and select Flexible in a workload model field. Now you may set the schedule for one week or set a repeatable pattern of several weeks with varying working day lengths. If an employee's workload has no repeatable pattern - you may save the workload without any template and set the schedule manually later.

After you save the workload, a calendar view will appear with the patterns automatically applied. This calendar is open for editing and lets you consider the occasional updates that may happen to an employee's schedule.

We've also provided some tips that'll help to reduce your manual work even more.

Week templates. You can save any weekly schedule as a template and apply it to either the workload itself or to any week in the calendar.

Workload templates. If the schedule repeats for multiple employees, save the workload as a template and apply it within a click.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Thanks for using flair!

Nous parlons français ! Parliamo italiano !

We are excited to announce that we have added new languages! The Employee HUB is now available in both French and Italian. Your employees will be able to use the HUB in these languages as soon as their browser's language setting is set to either French or Italian, no additional action is required!

Managing employee skills with the skills matrix!

New opportunities arrive for Managers with the addition of our Skills Matrix. Now, managers can start designing a career path for their direct reports or identify new employees for their team or a project execution based on skills analysis.

Managers can create new skills, view all employees and their skills, assign or unassign them a skill and easily rate a particular skill for their direct reports.

Please let us know if you have any questions or feedback. We're always happy to help!

Introducing Employee Skills to the HUB! 🎉

We're happy to introduce our skills feature in the Employee HUB.

Until now, skills were only available in Salesforce for shifts and managed by the HR staff, now we've revamped skills so now you can use them as a crucial piece for employees' performance and engagement, as well.

We've added a new dimension to skills by making it possible for employees to assign skills to themselves, define their level of proficiency and rate them on a skills chart right in the Employee HUB.

Try it out and send us your feedback! 🙂

New grouping feature to clean up your absence categories

Too many absence categories in a list? No longer a problem. We have added a possibility to group any absence categories to make a list shorter and more organized.

HRs can do this on their Salesforce app in the Absence Settings:

To group absence categories go to Salesforce, Absence Setting tab

Employees will see the grouped categories as follows:

Employees see grouped categories on the Home page, in Absences Overview and Calendar

As always, let us know if you have any questions or feedback. We're always happy to help!

Time tracking is now synced smoothly

We've improved the way we update time tracking among your devices, apps, or tab copies. Earlier when you executed an action, like clocking in or starting a break, it was not immediately reflected in any other place you opened for time tracking. Beforehand you had to press a specific button to get time synced.

Now it's all being updated in real-time. Try it out!

Candidate Count: We added a column on the job list, now you can see the total number of candidates who applied for a particular job on the list

New job layout in Salesforce: View your job page in a neater and simpler layout. All charts have been moved to the right to give you better visibility and we've added a tab for advertising so you can view and get insights on your job advertisements posted on other platforms

Filter by Stage and Source in the Employee hub: We've made available the option to filter candidates by multiple stages and by source right in the employee hub.

Job name on candidate evaluation form: We've included the name of the job candidates applied for on the evaluation form to ensure evaluators get all relevant information they need about the candidate.

We hope you like these improvements. Feel free to share your feedback, Let us know what you think!

We've improved the workflow tasks' privacy

Oftentimes it's important to make workflow tasks invisible to the employees. For such cases, we've added a "Hide from Assignee" option. This is a great way to be sure that everyone will see only the tasks that are relevant to them.

To access this new option, simply click on the "Hide from Assignee" checkbox in the item modal of a workflow template. Now, the task will be visible to the responsible person and hidden from the assignee. Feel free to check it out!
