Paperless Power-Up: Employee Documents Revamp

We’ve made some slick new changes to the way employees upload and manage company or personal documents in the Employee Hub. Check them out!

Modern Document Storage

Whether they work remotely or in-office, we know that employees crave easy-to-navigate, streamlined, and secure ways to manage important work documents. Presenting an enhanced document management experience on flair.

With our new features, you can now effortlessly organize and access important documents within the Employee Hub portal. Securely upload files, create document categories, comment, and set approval statuses.

By centralizing document management on flair, employees can experience the benefits of streamlined workflows, improved collaboration, and easy retrieval of information.

New Features

  • Personal vs Corporate View: Delineate between personal files and company-centric documents using this split view. Store your work contract in the Personal folder, and keep the employee handbook or company policies Corporate.
  • Detailed Information: Single source of truth uploading that includes document preview view, file size, document location, uploader info, and workflow or completion status.
  • Commenting: Work together on specific documents using the commenting feature. Keep colleagues in the loop and enhance communication channels.
  • Manager Mode: Coming Soon. Switch to Manager mode on the Employee Hub and organize team files or paperwork associated with your direct reports.

Collaborate Better With Comments

Have your say: You can now share comments and emojis with your colleagues in the Employee Hub.

Whether you’re asking a question or sharing feedback, communication is essential to workplace collaboration. That’s why we’ve added a commenting feature to the Employee Hub to make it easier for you to interact with your colleagues and managers within the Hub. No need to switch apps.

In-App Commenting

Our new comments feature allows you to collaborate in context. Get straight to the point by adding a comment directly where it is relevant, increasing clarity and reducing the risk of misunderstanding. Now you no longer need to leave the Employee Hub to ask a question or send screenshots to help your colleagues understand what you are referring to.

Commenting is currently available on the following pages of the Employee Hub:

  • Workflows
  • Absences
  • Expenses
  • Cheers
  • Certificates

Share Emojis, Images, & More

In addition, we’ve also expanded our emoji picker so you can add a bit of fun and emotion to your comments. These new emojis are also available as reactions on the Announcements page.

Besides emojis, you can also include images, files, and links in your comments. This improves the flow of information between managers, team members, and HR.

Why not try it out and share a comment to brighten a colleague’s day?

Make Job Candidate Notes

Take notes and make identifying the right job candidate easier. 📝

We have just introduced Notes into the flair Recruiting app.

Recruiting App Notes

Notes is a feature located within the Candidates section on the flair Recruiting app on Salesforce.

By clicking on a job candidate, you can choose to create a note about their progress during the recruitment process. For example, make a note about the skills that impressed you during the phone screening or interview stage.

Extra Features

This flair Recruiting app feature also allows you to attach important files or documents to any note. You may also create note templates, save comments, and also filter search for keywords or specific comments.

Try out the new feature today and enhance your recruiting workflow. For more information on how flair can help you streamline and improve recruitment, visit our Learning Hub.

Source Talent From Your Browser

flair Recruiting just got more efficient with our new extension for Google Chrome!

Save Time Sourcing Candidates

Adding to your talent pool, making connections, and saving candidate data are all important parts of a recruiter’s daily business. Our latest update makes it even easier. With the flair Recruiting extension for Google Chrome, you can add promising talent and interesting candidates to your flair Recruiting app – directly from your browser.

Automatic Parsing of Candidate Details

Just received an impressive job application? Our Chrome plug-in can automatically parse their details from websites. It’s really simple: Just click on the extension and the plug-in will extract the most important information and contact details. Assign a job to the candidate, choose a funnel stage, and add your notes, then you can instantly add the candidate to the flair Recruiting app.

And you can do the same to add a profile to your talent pool. So now there’s no need to interrupt your workflow when you’re on the hunt for your company’s next top talent!

Add Talent From Anywhere

While automatic parsing is only compatible with some websites, you can still use our Chrome extension on any website.

Simply click on the extension in your Chrome browser and add talent or candidate details manually – they will still be saved directly to your flair Recruiting app, saving you from having to log into Salesforce.

PAYROLL RUN: CUSTOMIZE AND EXPORT FILES 🎨

Are you using external payroll apps? Then you’ll enjoy this update 👍

As an HR Manager you are now able to customise the documents that are available to export in your Payroll Runs. Simply define the set of files on the Payroll Territory Page and saved it for the following payroll runs ✅

flair suggests a standard set of files which are available for download. But you can hide those you don’t want to see, tweak the names, change the formats and the order - customise it to your needs.

Prefer to create your own files? Elements that are labeled with “editable” allow you to pick and choose the labels you want to add to your exported file: names, IDs, salaries, bonuses, etc.

Ready to go? Find your customised set of files in the Payroll Runs section 🎉

Let us know how you get on!

Archive (and Unarchive) Absence Categories 🙌

Great news! We've made it easier to manage Absence Categories  🙌

The archive button allows you to hide absence categories by simply going to Absence Settings and clicking “Archive”, there’s also an option to “Unarchive”, if you change your mind later.

Whether your absence categories are active or archived, all historical data is safely stored in Salesforce.

This feature allows you to experiment with different absence formats without losing important insights. Enjoy and let us know how it is working for you!

Comment on your Absence Rejection 💬

Sometimes there are good reasons to reject your employee’s request for absence. Just make sure they understand the reason behind your decision. We want to allow for that communication to happen and therefore we’ve added the option to leave a comment when you have to turn down a request..

When rejecting a request simply add the reasoning in order for employees to better understand your decision. We hope this makes absence rejections just a little easier.
